Responsibility is a humanising element that indicates a caretaking or custodial role,
often with regard to place, action or knowledge.
The children are seen as being responsible for good will amongst their family group when they decide to share food.
This indicates the little ones are sharing and caring, and developing good self esteem and autonomy.
By being responsible, people are exercising the custodial ethic and increasing the degree of Human-ness in relations.
Recognition of this requirement ensures the evolutionary momentum is maintained and the process of humanising people continues.
The element of responsibility in the human make-up inhibits the opportunity for leaders to emerge that might be unable to represent all others in all areas of concern.
